Let's face it. A camera will never capture a moment as clearly as the human eye. No matter how good a photographer you are every image must undergo some level of post production. That means taking some liberties to bring back those juicy nuances that conveyed exactly how we felt in the field. Converting images from the back of your screen to show the vision ... your vision, unique to you, from the field to print ... is the ultimate goal.

It's taken me years to realize that photography is a tough SOB! As an artist, I can attest that one of the most difficult things is transforming the vision in your mind into something that you can share. When I started my craft years ago I was easily frustrated by the fact that the images on my computer screen were worlds different than the places I had just visited. It was only by spending more time outside and finding powerful tricks in Photoshop that alleviated that snapshot-syndrome. I was able to bring that creative vision to life and finally become happy with the work I was producing.

Here's the thing. My techniques are simple, satisfying, and extremely powerful. The techniques that I teach you are guaranteed to carve a deeper understanding of both Lightroom and Photoshop so that you are able to replicate your creative vision without the fluff and farce. Outdoors people. Fisher people. Parent people. Short people. Tall people. Little people just getting into photography. I'm here to work with you!

Let's connect and make your creative visions come to life!
