This page is all about the media. No, video didn't really kill the radio star. This page handles all the ways my signature photography carries over onto the wall and what you can expect in any of my fine art pieces.
I take great pride in the rich colors and unique feel captured in each of my fine art landscapes. Each of my RAW files are saved as 50-70mb TIFs. All images have been slightly imagery you see on the website Standards require that all media rated for "archival" must be rated with at least an eighty year lifespan. All of my papers, canvases, acrylics, metals, and stiched-panoramas are handled on an individual basis, never batch edited, so that I can personally look over every print before sending them for export.
All images you see on this website are hi-res files that have been carefully optimized for print with a slight increase in brightness, vibrance, and clarity. As such, the image you see differs very slightly from the print you will receive, but not by much. In fact, it would take a keen pair of eyes to make out the difference.
So why the difference, you ask? A monitor or phone screen sees imagery much different than a printer, so although the image appears like what you see on your computer screen, it will be almost always be slightly different when printed, specifically an image's brightness, sharpness, and saturation. Therefore in order to produce the stellar pieces that I do, I have to implement some adjustments to satisfy the printer.
Notice that I've used only three adjustments. It's actually taken years to find this particular sweet spot that both matches what you see on screen and what you see as a finished print! Using these three adjustments results in a carefully crafted print both absolutely stunning and signature of my rich darks and vibrant color!

My tack-sharp and colorful prints are specifically tailored for export onto archival-grade Fine Art, Glossy, Semi-Gloss, or Matte papers of your choice. Paper is still the most cost-effective medium for any photograph and a great way to own any of my pieces without breaking the bank!
Regardless of the paper choices below, every image is printed leaving a 1/4" white edge specifically suited for a matte. If this edge is not required, please choose this option at the ordering screen. Yeah, we know. So many choices!
Printed on: Epson Premium Glossy Photo Paper
- 10 mil/260 gsm
This paper offers the highest gloss level of any resin-coated photographic paper. We highly recommend glossy paper for the depth, darks, and vibrancy that my work is known for. This paper produces vivid, life-like images that rival those of traditional silver-halide prints. The ultra glossy finish, coupled with a 10 mil thickness and extremely wide color gamut, makes this one a favorite among discerning artists and photographers. Keep in mind that gloss papers are reflective so they may not be the best choice in areas in strong sources of light (depending on where the piece is placed).
Printed on: Epson Premium Semi-Gloss Photo Paper
- 10 mil/165 gsm
Semi-gloss is my most popular finish - one that offers a remarkable balance between a full gloss and matte. This style of paper really pops and shows great detail in just about every type of image. Semi gloss is the ideal choice near windows or strongly lit areas.
Printed on: Epson Enhanced Matte Photo Paper
- 10 mil/192 gsm
- Heavyweight stock
Matte papers provide a more subdued result and are perfect if you're going for more of a refined, non-reflective look. This paper is ideal for especially cool colors and monochromatic scenes. Despite its matte surface, Enhanced Matte yields highly saturated mages while maintaining excellent highlight and shadow detail.
Fine Art Paper
Epson Cold Press Bright
- 21 mil/340 gsm
You absolutely can't go wrong with Fine Art Paper! This bright white paper yields a nice textured finish that's both elegant and extremely precise. That means you get rich, deep blacks and an incredibly wide color gamut! Cold Press Bright is 100% cotton fiber, acid, lignen & chlorine free and maintains a white point and contrast ratio without sacrificing the look and feel of a true fine art paper. Hands down, this is an amazing paper and the best choice for panoramas, heavy warm colors, and darker scenes.
In addition to traditional papers, I also offer both Metal and Acrylic which are two fantastic mediums for fine art prints! Metals have a famous "wet look" that suddenly becomes three-dimensional - allowing colors and shadows that really pop off the surface. Metals are also light, scratch resistant and very durable to the fact they can even be washed with window cleaners.
Acrylic prints are face-mounted glossy or metallic papers on archival clear 1/4" plastic with 3mm pvc backing. These guys are guaranteed to hold up against dirt and indirect sunlight. Metals and acrylics look fantastic just about anywhere you hang 'em. The really cool thing about both of these mediums is that being a stiff metal and acrylics with pvc backing, both come ready to hang with wire on a wood backing at no extra cost!
Epson Exhibition Matte Canvas
- 22 mil
This elegantly textured medium feature a soft-matte surface with a bright white point, exceptionally high Dmax, and a wide color gamut. The canvas base is enhanced with elastic polymers providing high tensile strength and flexibility suitable for gallery wrap stretching without cracking.
All of my 100-year archival canvases are remarkably durable because of a heavyweight cotton-poly blend, acid and lignen-free material and coated with a non-yellowing UV resistant, liquid top coat for added protection against against dirt, indirect sunlight, and even oily fingers. You really have to see of these canvases to believe it! Canvases arrive readily mountable and come wrapped of your choosing at 3/4", 1", or 1/1/2 inches around the edge. Like metals, canvas prints "float" off the wall and if desired can be framed for an even more sophisticated look. It's no wonder why canvases are my most popular media.
What you see if what you get. All sizes listed are exact measurements and maximum sizes vary from one image to the next. Many factors dictate this maximum size that I feel comfortable printing, such as the film or digital format and conditions at the time of capture. In other words, I will only print images at sizes that I feel meet high expectations for quality and detail throughout any given image. I also offer a signature and short personally-addressed note on the back of each image. To receive this signature and/or note free of charge, just specify in the message box upon ordering.
My razor-sharp and fantastically colorful panoramas are extremely popular in this neck of the woods! I can promise that you won't find another panorama quite as vibrant and richly-detailed as these. My panos may not be available in certain mediums. Each available medium has been chosen very carefully that I feel will meet only the highest expectations for detail and quality. I put a massive amount of work into my panoramas (upwards of one to two months) and each consists of vertically-stitched images (three or more images merged together) that have been carefully captured, crafted and specifically designed for export onto very large media that pop off the wall with great depth, detail, vibrancy, and tack sharpness throughout. I'll say it. They're pretty darn handsome!
